Refunds

This page covers fees paid for Matrix Packetcore programmes. The public website does not take payment; refunds apply once a seat has been invoiced and paid through the arrangement confirmed by email.

Eligibility

You may cancel a distance booking within 14 days of the day we confirm the seat, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless the first clinic has already taken place and you asked us to start within that period. Company bookings follow the same window as a courtesy unless the confirmation letter states a different commercial term.

Timeframe for a full refund

If you cancel before the 14-day window ends and before any live clinic, we refund the fee in full. If you cancel after the window but at least 10 days before the first clinic, we refund 70% to cover the reserved room.

Partial refunds

Once you have attended a clinic, remaining sessions are refunded in proportion minus the notes pack (valued at £90 on a Desk Seat and £180 on Studio Pair). Missing a session without notice is not a ground for refund of that session.

Non-refundable items

Travel to Cranage, hotels, vendor licences, and privately printed materials you commissioned are not refundable by us. Gift seats are refundable only to the original payer.

Process

Write to info@matrix-packetcore.digital with the booking reference and whether you want cancellation or a date move. We acknowledge within two working days and confirm the calculation before we instruct the bank.

Processing time and method

Refunds travel back by the original payment method within 14 days of our confirmation. We do not issue store credit. Bank timelines after we instruct payment are outside our control.

Cancellation by us

If we cancel a room (illness, too few seats, or a venue failure), you may take a later date or a full refund, including any clinic already paid. We do not compensate travel.

Exceptions

If we reasonably believe materials were copied for resale, or a participant recorded a clinic against the terms, we may refuse a remaining-session refund. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain available.
